233 Purcell, Lisa 644 This pattern is called Atomic Starburst. I chose to make a dark version using Halloween fabrics for the diamonds. I used the quilting pattern Spindle because it is spiderwebs with no backtracking. I did not want thread to be noticeable on any of the fabrics so I used Monopoly. I love how it looks like real webs when the light hits it just right. 1st

116 Forbes, Lissa 607 This quilt is one of two designs made for my son; now 40 years old. It is made of shirts and shorts he no longer wanted, but I wanted to make them into something special rather than him just donating them. The pattern is a modern square in a square (ref: Yoan Sewing Studio on Pinterest) It's 45 W x 56" L. This quilt is longarm quilted. 2nd

350 Hunt, Nadine 1021 When a spouse of 50 years dies, it is easy to get rid of the socks, white t-shirts, and khaki trousers, but more difficult to get rid of the shirts because they are often associated with special memories. The white and blue fabrics and the inner border of this queen size quilt (370" perimeter) are new, but all other fabrics are from my deceased husband's shirts. A way to preserve the memories! The computerized edge to edge quilting was done by the staff at The Sewing Circle. 1st Larimer
